Day 01: NAIROBI
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and proceed through immigration and baggage collection. Met by a Somak
Representative and transferred to your hotel. Visit the Giraffe Centre in the afternoon followed by dinner at with the
Carnivore restaurant or the Handi restaurant. Overnight at the Sarova Panafric Hotel (D)
Day 02: NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast at the hotel drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch (180 kms, approximately 3 hrs). Spend the rest of the day game viewing in this park with lots of birds teaming with wildlife and rare animals who find
sanctuary here. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge (BLD)
Day 03: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA
After an early breakfast proceed towards the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve (300 km, approximately 6 hrs). The
Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year round. Arrive in time for Lunch. After lunch enjoy
an extensive game drive. Overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp (BLD)
Day 04: MASAI MARA
Enjoy a Hot Air Balloon flight over the Mara Plains followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra cost) or head out for an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp. During your stay, you also have an opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals (optional extra). Enjoy lunch at the camp. Proceed for a late afternoon game drive in the reserve. Overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp (BLD)
Day 05: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI – DEPART
After breakfast return to Nairobi and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch (250 kms, approximately 5 hrs). Later proceed to
the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home. (BL)
